Join collaborator Laura Ward and me for a journey through the life of Johannes Brahms and his complicated relationship with the Schumann family.  Brought to you by Lyric Fest and narrated by Jim Bergwall and Suzanne DuPlantis, this concert will explore the life of Brahms punctuated by selections of his song output.  I will be joined by soprano Laura Dixon Strickling, mezzo-soprano Chrystal E. Williams, and baritone Anthony Whitson-Martini.  Pieces I will be singing include the following:
